Paypal only on ebay
From May 2008 sellers will HAVE to offer Paypal as a payment option on Ebay and from June Paypal and cash is the only accepted form of payment. No other payment methods allowed. If Ebay want to make their sellers dislike them this is surely the way to go about it. This is going to really eat into any profit left over after Ebay takes their fees for the listing, fees for the picture gallery and then closing fees. If it was closer to April 1 I would believe this to be just a late April Fools joke but no it’s just a company getting too greedy to do what is right for their buyers and sellers. Link
Saving Money
Recently I’ve discovered the difference putting aside even as little as $20/week can make. $20 is easily spent with nothing to show for it but over time it really builds up and offers the possibility of making purchases you wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford (like the laptop I’m saving for). There are many different types of savings accounts a bank may offer you to begin your saving in. Let’s take a look at the range WaMu.com offers for example, which are:
Online Savings
Statement Savings
Traditional CD
Online CD
Liquid CD
Online and Statement Savings Accounts
These are your traditional savings accounts which you can start with as little as $1-$4. Statement Savings are for those who are not interested in or do not have access to online banking. You may access you money any time, withdraw or deposit any amount, any time.
Traditional, online and liquid CD accounts
This type of account is for those who have slightly more money to invest. You need to start with at least $1000 top open one of these accounts. You will also need to specify how long you want to leave your money there, with a 1-3 month minimum during which time you can not withdraw the money. This type of account pays a higher amount of interest then normal savings accounts.

What is your website worth?
I came across this web site today, it offers a cute badge you can display on your site about how much your site is worth according to how many backlinks you have. Although this is not a real appraisal of your site’s value since more then just the amount of backlinks are taken into consideration, it is fun.
Truck Spills

Every day thousands of trucks carry just about anything you can think of over long distances. Many times they manage to spill their contents. TruckSpills.com is a web site with photos of a wide variety of spills ranging from bees to chocolate. The above image comes from possibly the most famous one on the internet - the giant beer spill in the Netherlands.

Carrot Salad?
Could a carrot salad possibly taste good? I’m starting to think so after spotting this recipe at epicurious.
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
3/4 cup Greek yoghurt
3 cups grated carrots
1/4 cup chopped chives
1/4 cup toasted almonds sliced (optional)
Whisk lemon juice and honey. Gradually whisk in oil, then yogurt. Add carrots and chives. Season with salt and pepper. Optional: Sprinkle almonds over salad; serve.
